Bill Hill enriched us with his Haudenosaunee culture during this very special celebration at Holy Trinity. It was a pleasure to listen and learn from Bill as he enriched us with story and traditional song. Parishioners participated in a smudging ceremony and Bill discussed the hope for all to transition from 'us" to 'one'.

Holy Trinity's Hound Dog - May 6, 2017
Our parish is blessed to have Rev. Matt Martin who donates his time and talent to help raise funds and awareness for Holy Trinity and other wonderful local causes. On May 6, 2017, "Elvis" (also known as Rev. Matt)  performed for a sold out show at Holy Trinity. The funds raised supported the parish's music program and Camp Wendake, a camp for those living with HIV/AIDS.
Hockey Sweater and Holy Humour - April 23, 2017
In recognition of Christ’s resurrection as God’s “last laugh” over sin, evil and death, Holy Trinity Parish in Lucan participated in Hockey Sweater and Holy Humour Sunday on April 23. “It’s Important to celebrate our God who has given us a  a sense of humour and the ability to laugh, especially in times when life can seem very heavy,” says Rev.Matt Martin.“Playfulness is a good and holy thing – worthy of celebration. It enables us to express ourselves creatively, to use our imaginations, to savour the lightness of being and to make our humble contribution to the ever-evolving and beautiful landscape of our world.” Many in the congregation wore their “playful” attire to mark the special day (and to kick off the playoff season) and everyone laughed as the children from the Sunday School cracked jokes during “Kid’s Talk.” Rev. Matt added to the levity with a few jokes of his own rounding out a lovely, memorable and jovial Sunday service.
